Are You Interested in Becoming Catholic?
“The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults” or “RCIA” is the program for those who are interested in exploring the teaching, beliefs, practices, prayers, and worship of the Catholic Church.
Come to a Q&A Inquiry Session and learn about St. Theresa’s RCIA program which will begin after Labor Day. We will have brief exploratory sessions on
Sundays, July 25th, or August 1st, in the Red Room in the Parish Centre adjacent to the Church from 11:15 a.m. to Noon.

GAYE HABLINSKI JOINS ST. THERESA'S STAFF
Gaye Hablinski is the newest member of our Finance Department. She was born in Groves, Texas, and attended Lamar University in Port Arthur where she earned a two-year Associate's degree in Accounting.

Gaye has been married almost 25 years to her husband, Craig. They have one son, Zachary who currently is at the University of Texas in Austin. Gaye and Craig have lived in Timbergrove since 1997. She has been an active volunteer and organizer for the St. Thomas High School Eagle's Nest Clothes Closet since 2014.

SANDWICHES FOR CASA JUAN DIEGO
The need and assistance for immigrants and refugees in Texas grow every day. While we regularly collect food for Casa Juan Diego, we are bringing back our sandwich ministry to try and ease the burden of hungry families. Each Tuesday, we will be bringing lunches down to CJD to be distributed to the needy.
To participate, please make individually wrapped sandwiches or prepare a sack lunch (including a sandwich, chips, and fruit) and bring it to St. Theresa by 9:00 a.m. any Tuesday morning.

The Sisters have assisted in these missions over 52 years, and have a passion for helping poor children and families have their basic needs of food, clothing, medicine and shelter met, and just as importantly, have opportunities for education that will empower them to break the destructive cycle of poverty.
