Little Flowers Nursery

We are now registering for the Little Flowers Nursery Care for the 10:00 a.m. Mass. This ministry seeks to create connection and community for our littlest flowers (newborn—4 years old) in a safe and fun environment. Pre-registration is necessary, but once you are registered, feel free to “drop in” any Sunday you attend 10:00 a.m. Mass on a first-come, first-serve basis.

We want to thank the Young Adults Group who helped to serve and reset the Fellowship Hall after the event. The Hospitality Ministry prepared hotdogs, drinks, and food for the kids. Parishioners helped with decorations. The Social Justice in Action Ministry distributed the King’s Cake. The Knights of Columbus helped with the beignets. Raquel Cepeda and her band for their captivating Jazz performance, along with Morrison Energy and Cannata’s Bakery of Houma for their generous donation of the delicious king cakes for our Mardi Gras party. Your contributions have truly made our celebration memorable. In addition, we are deeply thankful for our dedicated volunteers for spreading joy to our community.

Parking Lot Closure Alert

Memorial Park Conservancy, in coordination with the City of Houston, will be resurfacing the Vale Asche Playground parking lot across the street from St. Theresa. Work is expected to begin the week of March 10th and will take approximately 5-6 days. During this time, the parking lot and the small driveway between the lots will be closed. Please plan accordingly and allow extra time for parking.

Scam Alert!

A new scam has come to light targeting residents across the United States with text messages that pretend to be from toll road operators. For many who receive these messages, it’s an easy and expensive trap to fall into. The scam begins when people receive a message claiming they have unpaid tolls and may be charged fines. Scammers then ask for card details and a one-time password sent via SMS to steal their money. Additionally, there are artificial intelligence (AI) generated scams to be on the lookout for. Please review and share the attached information that outlines these and other common scams and how to avoid falling victim to fraudulent activities.
