Father Phil from St. Theresa Catholic Chur in Houston reflects on the life of Father Damien during this time of coronavirus. Fr. Damien is famous throughout the world for his dedication and devotion to caring for the spiritual and physical needs of victims of leprosy in Hawai`i on the remote island of Moloka`i.
We continue to welcome interested adults to RCIA every week. RCIA meets on Sunday morning from 8:30 to 9:45 in the Fellowship Hall. RCIA has year-round admissions so today is as good as any day to make the decision to come to learn about God, faith, Jesus, Christianity, and Catholic beliefs. RCIA uses an adult learning model of conversation and question sharing along with prayer and socializing. Come make yourself at home if you are a non-Catholic Christian, a non-Christian, a seeker, a doubter, or a Catholic who missed out on learning our Catholic faith when younger. Spouses, fiancées, and friends are welcomed to join their significant other who comes to RCIA. For more information, drop-in or contact the Church Office at 713-869-3783 or email
